During the interview, he also gave the details of the internal differences among the members of AIMPLB.

On Babri Masjid, he said that he wants peace between two communities by constructing the masjid at a different site.

It may be mentioned that AIMPLB informed that the committee decided to remove Maulana Salman Husaini Nadvi from the board. This decision was made after he gave the details of his meeting with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar where he extended support to the construction of Ram temple and said that their priority is to join the hearts of people.

On the other hand, AIMPLB said that the land dedicated for masjid cannot be sold, gifted or in any way alienated, reiterating its earlier stand on the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi dispute.
After this controversy, another AIMPLB member, Maulana Syed Kalbe Sadiq made a controversial statement.

According to the news published in Deccan Chronicle, Vice President of AIMPLB, Maulana Syed Kalbe Sadiq said that school should be constructed at the disputed site. He also said that issue can be resolved when people wish to do so.

He gave this controversial statement on Sunday in Lucknow.
