Mawa Kachori

Ingredients:

100 gms ghee

500 gms maida

200 gms sweet mawa

1/2 cup of lukewarm water as needed

1 pinch saffron

Ghee for frying

1 kg sugar

15 gms chopped almon

Silver foil for garnishing

15 gms chopped pista

Dried rose petals for garnishing

Method:

Make a dough with flour ghee and water and rest for 30min

Divide into balls and stuff center with mawa and flatten to make discs

Fry in ghee till golden brown

Make sugar syrup by heating water and sugar till the sugar dissolves completely

Just before serving dip the fried Kachoris in sugar syrup and garnish with chopped nuts
