New Delhi: After being named in #MeToo Congress student organisation NSUI National President resigned from his post on Monday. He submitted the resignation letter to Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Congress president has also accepted the resignation. A 3-member committee has been set up to investigate the matter by opposition Congress. On the other side, it mounted pressure on Modi government, BJP and BJP minister MJ Akbar asking when MJ Akbar will resign? Union minister M J Akbar has been accused by several former women colleagues of sexual harassment when he served as an editor at various media organisations.

Mr Khan is the first victim of #MeToo campaign from politics to step down. Feroz Khan hails from Jammu and Kashmir. While denying the charges against him, he said he quit keeping in mind the party’s interests. In his resignation letter, Khan stated that he has decided to step down since the charges against him are hurting the party’s image.

A woman party worker from Chhattisgarh named NSUI chief, Feroz Khan on the charges of sexual harassment.
