Tampa Bay [US]: Muslim community of Tampa Bay has come forward to help migrant children who are separated from their families. The community is ready to host the children.
Talking about this wonderful step, Mr. Ahmed Bedler, Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area said, “Our religious faith calls upon us to protect the young, to protect children and emphasizes the importance of keeping families connected”. He also quoted the sayings of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

He made the announcement that the community is ready to host all 2300 migrant children that are currently in detention. He also informed that hundreds of Muslim families are ready to host children in their homes until they are reunited with their parents or next of kin. He further made it clear that the community is not going to take any financial help from the government.
