Minorities Residential School: TS Govt. likely to introduce syllabus on “Moral Islamic Education”

Hyderabad: Telangana State Government likely to introduce syllabus on moral Islamic and modern education in Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society Schools.

According to the news published in Telangana Today, around 50 thousand students are studying in 206 TMREIS’s schools.

Advisor to Government, Minority Affairs, Mr. AK Khan said that the aim is to teach moral values apart from modern education.

He further said that currently, in TMREIS schools, Islamic and Moral Studies are taught as an optional subject. A unique syllabus is needed to give right knowledge of the religion, he added.

However, officials said that the syllabus would be optional for school students.

It may be mentioned that officials of Minority Welfare Department studied the syllabus prepared Jamia Nizamia’s clerics.

It is also reported that 2200 regular teachers would be appointed soon. Subjects would be assigned based on their expertise.
