Minorities Residential Schools: Zaheeruddin Ali Khan persuades to get admissions

Hyderabad: The biggest struggle today is to get education. The communities which behave carelessly in getting education get wiped off. The Muslims should make an effort to get their children educated. They should avail of the facility provided by Govt. of TS for Minorities in residential schools. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily. He was addressing an awareness program for persuading the Muslims to get their children admitted to residential schools. The program was organized by Siasat Urdu Daily and Faiz-e-Aam Trust at Abid Ali Khan Eye Hospital, Darulshifa on 14th April.

Dr. Shaukat Ali Mirza, Dr. Samiullah Khan, Dr. Makhdoom, Mr. Basheeruddin Farooqui also addressed the gathering.

Mr. Mohammed Ajaz Ahmed, Incharge Dy. Secretary of Residential Schools presented a documentary on the facilities government is providing for minority students. Mr. Rizwan Haider was the guest of honour of this function.

Continuing his speech, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan told that there is a need for the Muslims to get their children better education in order to eradicate illiteracy. Govt. has provided residential facilities for minorities in these schools. Besides providing boarding and lodging, school uniform, books and other articles are being provided to the students free of charge. He also informed that two junior colleges are also functioning under this scheme.

On this occasion, nearly 50 students got themselves registered for admission into minorities’ residential schools.
