New Delhi: President India Islamic Cultural Centre Sirajuddin Quraishi sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and congratulated him for getting the most prestigious Palestinian award.
In a statement issued here, Mr Sirajuddin Quraishi thanked prime minister, saying that he is the first person to visit Palestine as Prime Minister. Talking to media Mr Quraishi said it is not important which country the prime minister visited first or which country later. But it is important that prime minister made a separate visit to Palestine. He has given importance and preference to Palestine as a separate country.
He also thanked Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas for presenting country’s most prestigious award to Narendra Modi.
