Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly killed her 16-year-old daughter. The accused reportedly committed this heinous crime as she suspected that her husband and daughter were involved in physical relations. This incident took place in Kharghar, Maharashtra. After the incident police arrested the accused.
According to the report published in India.com, accused strangulated her 16-year-old daughter. She used “Dupatta” to commit the crime. The victim’s mother is a homemaker and father is a civil contractor.
Talking about the case, Mr. Dilip Kale, Inspector of Police told that the incident took place at around 10:30 am on 4th March.
Earlier, police after registering a case and sent the body for post-mortem. Later, victim’s funeral was performed at her native place in Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, postmortem report revealed that the victim died due to strangulation. During the investigation, police talked to victim’s classmates. They revealed that accused used to assault the victim over suspicions of physical relations.
Later, police claimed that victim’s mother confessed to the crime. Police is further investigating the case.
