Muslim workers of Maharashtra BJP to campaign in Gujarat for Assembly elections

Ahmedabad: Ahead of the Assembly elections, Muslim workers of Maharashtra BJP decided to leave for Gujarat for the campaign.

According to the report published in TOI, 250 Muslim workers would campaign for BJP in the home state of PM Modi.

It is also reported that on 4th or 5th November, the first batch of workers would leave for Gujarat

It may be mentioned that the Muslims of Gujarat always backed Congress and BJP is trying to get their support.

Talking about the law and order situation in Gujarat, BJP Vice President, Haider Azam said that the atmosphere of the State is peaceful. He also applauded Modi’s ‘sabka saath sabka vikas’.

Meanwhile, BJP Minority Morcha President, Waseem Khan said that till now Muslims supported BJP secretly. Now, they are trying to persuade Muslims to support party openly, he added.

The polls will be conducted in Gujarat in two phases – December 9 and December 14. The counting of the votes will be held on December 18.
