Nadeem Javed will succeed in bringing Muslims and Congress together: leaders

New Delhi: Former President NSUI, former MLA and Congress national spokesman Nadeem Javed has been appointed as the chairperson of All India Congress Committee’s Minority department on Tuesday. The decision taken by Congress President Rahul Gandhi is being welcomed from all quarters. Senior Congress leaders also welcomed the move.

President Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind and ustaad Darul Uloom Deoband Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, Imam of Shahi Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari, ex-MP Mohammed Adeeb, Prof of Urdu Allahabad University Prof. Ali Ahmed Fatimi, former union president of Aligarh Muslim University advocate of Supreme Court Z K Faizan and academician Ilyas Malik congratulated him for getting the post.

Besides Congress general secretary Mukul Wasnik, Ashok Gehlot, UP Congress president Raj Babbar, Imran Qidwai, national spokesman of Congress M Afzal, Jagdish Tytler, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Deepender Singh Hooda and Maroof Khan also hailed the decision.

Muslim leaders hoped that Nadeem Javed will bring Muslims and Congress together and represent Muslim voice in the party.
