Hyderabad: Participating in an election campaign in Manikonda today, Naidu addressed a road show meeting. Naidu said he did not come to Telangana to show his power, but to install a good government in the State. Launching a scathing attack on the TRS government, Chandrababu questioned whether KCR has done a single notable work after coming to power in Telangana? He also took potshots against Modi saying “Achche Din” have never been seen in t he country and asked the people to defeat Modi in coming Lok Sabha elections.
Chandrababu said he did not create hurdles in development of Telangana. But during his regime in united AP government, he had launched Bhim, Nettampadu, Kalvakurti lift irrigation projects. Accusing Modi of destroying the country and the States, Naidu said Modi government policies like demonetisation and GST caused worst hardships to people. He also said prices of petrol, diesel and essential commodities shot up causing heavy burden on the people.
Chandrababu also said the Modi-Amit Shah duo was dangerous to the country and the people as they organize IT and ED raids on their critics. He also accused Modi of not fulfilling his promise of granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh which was promised before 2014 elections.
