Neglected TRS veterans keep off party activities

Hyderabad: The senior leaders of the ruling TRS have disappeared from the political scene. Several leaders, who have been either denied State cabinet minister posts or ignored by the party leadership, suddenly turned inactive in the party.

Former Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, who was denied minister’s post in the second term and who has been active in the party during his stint as the minister, was not being seen in the party activities these days ever since he was denied minister ‘s post. He was not seen in the important party activities either.

Similar is the fate of former chairman of Legislative Council Kanakamamidi Swamy Goud and also former minister Jupally Krishna Rao. These two leaders are not being seen in the party activities these days. The efforts of Swamy Goud to meet the Chief Minister KCR and his son KTR also didn’t yield any result. Pained at this, Goud stopped taking part in the party activities.
Former minister Jupally Krishna Rao was also not being seen in the party activities after inclusion of his political rival from Kollapur and MLA B. Harshavardhan Reddy into the party. Former minister Azmeera Chandulal was also not participating in party activities. The former Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, who was denied the cabinet post by the party high command, has been maintaining distance from the party activities.
