Nobody has a monopoly on saffron flag: Digvijay Singh

Police personnel in civil uniform sported saffron scarves at a political roadshow in Bhopal taken out by Congress candidate of Bhopal parliamentary constituency of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh.

Senior Congress leader and party candidate from Bhopal, Digvijaya Singh, was accompanied by Namdeo Das Tyagi, also known as Computer Baba, for the particular roadshow.

A large number of saffron flags could be seen in one-kilometre long rally taken out in the national capital.

When asked by the media persons, what’s the matter that saffron flag could also be seen along with Congress flag, Digvijay Singh questioned: “Does saffron flag has a monopoly of anyone?”

When the seers passed by the roads of Bhopal several people shouted slogans like ‘Ghar Ghar Modi- Har Har Modi’. Meanwhile, police also registered an FIR for shouting slogans in favour of Modi. The seers had arrived in Bhopal on the invitation of Computer Baba. Computer Baba said that the seers have come to Bhopal to ensure Digvijay Singh’s victory.

Digvijay Singh was present in the rally along with his wife. Bhopal will go to polls on May 12.
