BJP Telangana President Dr K Laxman today paid rich tributes to Jyothi Bha Phule to mark 192nd birth anniversary at a program here. He said that BCs development is possible by the BJP. He garlanded the photograph of Phule and recalled his services towards the upliftment of the poor, literacy for women and downtrodden.
On the occasion the BJP Leader took a dig at the Congress for failing to serve Dalits, Tribals, BCs and oppressed classes. For the past 70 years the Congress used these classes as vote bank and ignored their development he charged. Laxman targeted AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi for jibe against Prime Minister Narendra Modi who hails from a poor family. The congress could not digest that Modi is heading the nation and making false charges for political mileage he said. Modi Government provided individual toilets to 40 per cent of poor families, power supply to 16000 villages out of 18000 villages and offered free gas connection facility to 8 crore poor women in the country.
Laxman alleged that TRS staged protest in parliament and failed to take up debate on BC problems in Assembly at the behest of MIM. KCR has taken a decision against the poor by adopting private varsities bill and did not increase BC reservation in panchayat raj bill. (NSS)
