The scholarship is for applicants from developing countries who want to pursue their master degree in relevant field of development.
It aims at helping highly driven and motivated students overcome the challenges in paying the cost of graduate studies.
Who is offering this scholarship:
The scholarship is provided by The OPEC Fund for International Development. The organisation is a development finance institution which was established by the Member States of OPEC in 1976 as a channel of aid to the developing countries.
Who can apply for this scholarship:
Applicant should be 23- 32 years of age.
Applicant must hold or should be about to complete a bachelors degree.
Applicant should obtain minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system or its equivalent.
Applicant must select a course related to development.
Applicant must have matriculated at a recognized university, for the year starting in August/September 2018.
