Pakistani students create robots which will bring a revolution in industries

Lahore: Students of University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistani, have created an advanced Telerobotics system that could expand the use of robotics technology in local industries. They built the system as part of their final year project.

A three-member team which comprises of UETians Armughan Sarwar, Abdullah Humayun, and Muhammad Waseem created the robots that can make one’s daily repetitive tasks easier.

As compared to the traditional one, the technology created by these students with the help of virtual reality techniques to train the robotic manipulators, is a much easier method.

As reported by Techjuice, the system comprises of three parts which are, a robotic manipulator, a machine vision system, a virtual reality headset, and a processing unit.
