Pink feels life is really ‘traumatic’

Washington: American musician Pink has admitted life is getting worse and worse as time goes on, although she tries to “remind” herself about the ”good stuff” in her world.

While giving an interview to a leading UK daily, the 38-year-old singer said, “I think life is f**king traumatic and getting more so by the day. But I also think there’s a lot of beauty and I believe in holding on to that, especially now. You have to give fair time to it, you have to remind yourself that the good stuff is all around you. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude. Because otherwise it’s f***ed, everything’s f**ked.”

The ‘Beautiful Trauma’ hitmaker also admitted she has “hated herself” for years.

“I’ve hated myself at so many points in my life. I look at myself and I’m like, ‘Is this it?’ But then it automatically changes into either gratitude for my health or f**k it,” noted Pink.

Although the ‘So What’ singer goes through phases of liking and disliking herself, she is now trying to embrace her appearance.

She explained, “I’ve got to the stage where I’m like, ‘I’m never going to be that size, I’m never going to look younger than this.'”

Recently, the celebrated singer-songwriter revealed that she won’t be raising her children with gender labels.

She and her husband Cary Hart believe in sending their children, Willow and Jameson, to schools with gender neutral bathrooms and encourage her daughter who has mentioned that she may want to marry a woman. (ANI)
