Buenos Aires [Argentina]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Saturday met Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the sidelines of G20 summit.
The official spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs Raveesh Kumar took to Twitter saying, “PM @narendramodi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel met on the sidelines of #G20Summit. Leaders exchanged views on the importance of multilateralism in a rapidly changing world and the need to strengthen cooperation in counter-terrorism.”
Presently, Indian Prime Minister Modi is in Argentina, attending the 13th G20 summit. Prime Minister also tweeted, saying, “Met Chancellor Merkel at Buenos Aires. We reviewed the full range of relations between India and Germany. Our countries are cooperating extensively for the benefit of our citizens and working together towards world peace as well as stability.”
