Hyderabad: Nalakunta Police arrested a thief and seized gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees and cash.
According to the report of the police, P. Anand Kumar alias Nandu (43) is the resident of Gangabowli, Amberpet. He used to commit thefts by breaking open the locks of the houses during the day time. He used to steal ornaments and cash. He committed a theft in Nallakunta area. Police succeeded in arresting him within 24 hours and seized 25 tolas of gold ornaments with Rs. 4.57 lakh cash.
Police also reported that he is involved in more than 20 theft cases. He was arrested by Rachakonda, Cyberabad and Nalgonda Police officials earlier. After arresting him, he was produced in the court. Later, he was sent to jail.
