Hyderabad: Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, Rachakonda Police Commissioner finds a place in the list of top 10 IPS officers in the country for his amazing works and innovative ideas.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat had got the 2017 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report Heroes Award from the US State Department.
He played an important role in closing human trafficking sites. Rachakonda Police had closed many brothels.
He also played a vital role in cracking down labour trafficking.
It is also reported that during his career, he rescued more than one thousand women and children from sex trafficking. Apart from this, he rescued 800 minors from child labour.
