Ramana says Revanth did not resign

Resignation of Revanth Reddy issue took a new turn today with the comment of Telangana TDP president L Ramana that the former did not tender his resignation.

Speaking to media persons here, Ramana said Revanth Reddy did not submit his resignation to party national president and AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He just wished Chandrababu Naidu and returned. “It is untrue to say that he has submitted resignation”, the state party president said.

Revanth Reddy is doing a drama as elections are nearing, Ramana said and asserted that TDP is the only alternative in the state. Only leaders are leaving the party, but cadre of the party is in tact. The TDP leader said soon a public meeting would be organised at Kondangal and the party is strengthened under the leadership of Erra Shekar in Mahabubnagar district. (NSS)
