Revanth resigns from TPCC post

Hyderabad: Congress MP from Malkajgiri constituency A Revanth Reddy on Saturday resigned from his TPCC working president’s post. He sent his resignation letter to the party high command.

Speaking to media persons after tendering his resignation letter, Revanth said he would work for strengthening the party by taking inspiration from party supremo Rahul Gandhi. He said was not aspiring for any post after becoming an MP. Revanth Reddy, who lost the Assembly elections from his Kodangal Assembly constituency, successfully contested from the country’s largest Lok Sabha constituency Malkajgiri. Several Congress leaders across the country to have resigned from their posts in an attempt to urge Rahul Gandhi to continue as party president.
Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar also resigned as working president of TPCC.
