Siasat is an influential newspaper in the world: US Consul General Katherine Hadda

Hyderabad: The services of Siasat to provide employment guidance to youths are laudable. US Consulate at Hyderabad takes pride in imparting teaching of English to the unemployed youths at Siasat Office.

Ms. Katherine Hadda was distributing certificates to the successful candidates of English Language Teaching program. She said that English language teaching course run by American consulate is benefiting hundreds of students.

The function was presided over by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily. Present on this occasion were Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Akash Suri, Asst. Public Affairs Consul, Ms. Rachael Diamond and others.

In her address, Ms. Hadda told that Siasat is not only an influential newspaper of Hyderabad but it is also a newspaper which influences many people all over the world online. She further told in addition to publishing news, Siasat is playing key role in the economic development of the community.

Highlighting the importance of English language, she said that English has gained importance throughout the world. She also applauded the American way of address. The English language also has literature as Urdu.

While thanking Mr. Zahid Ali Khan and Mr. Amer Ali Khan for promoting the American programs of Economic interest among the people, she expressed her delight that among the students who have come for learning English language, there are women and girls in “Hijab”.

In his presidential address, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that there are two things of Hyderabad which are famous in the world. They are the diamonds and gentlemanliness of Hyderabad. He applauded English Language Teaching program and the services offered by Ms. Rachael Diamond in teaching English. He further told that many youngsters are benefited by this program. He also said that the Hyderbadi youths are competent to get jobs in any part of the world. He mentioned that the hospitality of Hyderabadis, Charminar, Biryani and water of Gandipet are important but the most important thing is the humility of Hyderabadis.

Ms. Ratna Chotrani, Staff Reporter of Siasat highlighted the welfare activities of Siasat and recalled the services of founder editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Late Mr. Abid Ali Khan. Coordinator of English for Employment program, Mr. Anas and Mr. Zahed Farooqui were also present on this occasion.

Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily apprised Ms. Hadda about the welfare activities of Siasat Urdu Daily.
