Dhanuri: The passion of the residents of “village of soldiers” to serve the country is the slap on the face of extremists.
A village by name Dhanuri is termed as “village of soldiers” as every second household of the village has a soldier. This village is located in Rajasthan.
As per the report of The Quint, 18 soldiers from Dhanuri village have been martyred. More than 250 persons of the village are serving the nation while around 250 persons have retired from the army.
While talking to media, soldiers of this village expressed dissatisfaction over the implementation of One Rank One Pension scheme.
It may be noted that the youngsters of Dhanuri village work hard to join the Indian Army to serve the nation.
