UP, South Korea share emotional connect: Adityanath

Noida: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that Uttar Pradesh and South Korea share an emotional connection as the princess of Ayodhya got married to the prince of South Korea about 2000 years ago.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Samsung mobile factory in Noida, Adityanath said, “It was an important occasion for everyone. South Korea and Uttar Pradesh have an emotional relationship; about 2000 years back the princess of Ayodhya got married to the prince of Korea.”

He further noted that the Samsung factory, which was jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae-in today here, will provide 35,000 jobs.
“The factory would give over 35,000 jobs directly and indirectly and hence the Uttar Pradesh Government ensured that the unit got the infrastructure and policy help it needed,” he added.
He added that India and South Korea have strong trade and cultural relationship.

Adityanath also invited the new ventures to invest in Uttar Pradesh and assured that his government will help them in every field.

“The manufacturing unit will produce new jobs for the organised and unorganised sector in the state. I invite new ventures to invest in Uttar Pradesh and our government will help them in every field,” he said. (ANI)
