Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today accused the TRS government of not celebrating September 17 Liberation Day officially at the behest of the AIMIM. The ruling party has a nexus with the MIM, he alleged.
Addressing a Jana Chaitanya yatra public meeting at Parakala in Warangal district today, Laxman alleged that family rule was continuing in the State since four years. He said injustice was done to tenant farmers under Rythu Bandhu scheme. Most of the farmers, who committed suicides were tenant farmers, the BJP chief said, adding that the State government was ignoring the sacrifices of martyrs, who laid down their lives for the separate State. Union Minister Suresh Prabhu also participated in the public meeting in Warangal district. (nss)
