NEW DELHI: Heavy rains in different states have wreaked havoc all across the country. Uttar Pradesh has also suffered severe damage due to the heavy rains.
The Taj Mahal, which is called the pride of the country, is also not untouched by it. The lawn near the premises of Taj Mahal was completely submerged in water. There is no arrangement to remove the drainage water which causes inconvenience to the tourists due to the negligence by the archaeological department.

Also, round 20 feet portion of wall of the historic monument Fatehpur Sikri in Agra has been damaged due to heavy rains.
