Rachakonda SHE Teams booked 36 cases of eve teasing and apprehended 40 accused, including 33 majors and seven minors in the last three weeks. All the accused, along with their family members attended the counseling session conducted by Rachakonda SHE teams, at the Commissioner Camp office, Nagole, LB Nagar. Children in conflict with law were counseled by professional psychologist to change their behavior.
The Rachakonda SHE teams conducted decoy operations on Whatsapp complaints from different areas of Rachakonda while they were teasing girls at different hotspots like junctions/ Bus stops/Working Places and colleges in the Rachakonda area limits. All were booked under petty cases/FIRs and counseled by professional counselors of Bhumika Women’s Collective in the presence of their family members. Minors were counseled by Dr Vasavi Samyuktha Sunki, Chief Consultant Psychologist.
