Telangana: Masjid dismantled in Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam: Many political parties lure the voters in the name of helping them to develop their social, economic and political status but after winning the elections, they forget everything.

TRS polled majority of the Muslim votes and won elections posing itself as a secular party. However, it seems that the party is following the footsteps of other parties and started dismantling masajid.

Earlier, Masjid-e-Ek Khana located at Amberpet was dismantled under the pretext of road widening. Despite strong protests by the Muslim organizations, nothing has happened so far.

The latest incident has come to notice about the dismantling of masjid located at Bhadrachalam. They claimed that the land belongs to Govt.

According to the latest report, forest officials dismantled the masjid at Bhadrachalam in early hours of the day.

Later, the worshipers offered Friday prayer on the road.

Local TRS leader, Mr. Mohammed Iqbal informed the correspondent of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Shahnawaz Baig that during the tenure of office of TRS, Muslims are getting perturbed due to dismantling of Masajid. He expressed the apprehension that if no action is taken against the miscreants, TRS will have to face dire consequences as it faced during parliamentary elections.

He demanded the Govt. to reconstruct the Masjid at Bhadrachalam. He also informed that the matter was brought to the notice of MIM President, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi but the matter could not be resolved. It may be noted that there is a temple in the vicinity of the Masjid but it has not been dismantled for widening the road.
