Tim Robbins to be honoured at Karlovy Vary Festival

Washington: Oscar-winning actor and director, Tim Robbins, will be honoured at the Karlovy Vary film festival.

The prestigious event will present the 59-year-old star with a Crystal Globe for Outstanding Contribution to World Cinema, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.

Robbins has already won an Oscar for best-supporting actor for his role in ‘Mystic River’ in 2003, and was also nominated for an Academy Award as a director for ‘Dead Man Walking’ in 1995.

The ‘Top Gun’ star has also earned a Golden Globe Award for ‘The Player’ (1992).

Oscar-winning actor Anna Paguin and actor/director Stephen Moyer will also be presented with The Parting Glass along screenwriter and co-star Denis O’Hare and producer Cerise Hallam Larkin.
