City Police Commissioner V.V. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, has notified vehicular traffic restrictions/diversions in the city in connection with the program of Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu on December 7 and 8.
On December 7, traffic regulations will be effective from 7.50 pm to 8.30 pm between Begumpet Airport and the Vice President’s residence at Banjara Hills. His convoy will leave Begumpet Airport and pass through PNT Junction –Right Turn Shyamlal Building – HPS – Begumpet Flyover – Greenlands Jn – CM’s Camp Office – Panjagutta flyover – Middle of the Panjagutta Flyover –Y Junction – NFCL Grave Yard – Times of India office – M.J. Engineering College – Srinagar ‘T’ Junction – Sagar Society ‘T’Junction – KBR Park – Left Turn – Cancer Hospital – TRS Bhavan – Orissa Island – Left Turn – Then immediate Right Turn – Residence, Road No.12, Banjara HIlls.
On Friday from 9.15 am to 10.15 am, the Vice President’s convoy will leave his residence, on Road no. 12 Banjara Hills for Shilpakala Vedika, Hi-tech city and pass through Orissa Island – Right Turn – Cancer Hospital – left turn – NTR Bhavan Junction (KBR Park) – Left Turn – Hyderabad Gym Khanana Club– Jubilee Hills Check Post Junction (wrong route) – ICICI Bank – Ushakiran ‘T’ Junction – Peddamma Temple – Road No. 10/36 Junction – Left Turn – Croma Building – Neeru’s Junction ( Madhapur Arch )– Daspalla Hotel – Enter Cyberabad limits – Madhapur L&O PS – Ayyappa Society Petrol Pump – COD – V.R.Nagar – Avasa Hotel – Cyber Towers – Shilpa Kala Vedika – Gate No.2.
On the same day from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm traffic curbs will be in force from Shilpakala Vedika, Hi-tech city to Begumpet Airport.
