TRS hits back at Congress leaders claims

Turning tables on the Congress that it delivered Telangana State, TRS leaders today said the Congress had cheated the people of Telangana region at various stages of separate Telangana movement and was taught a fitting lesson during 2014 elections.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, Mission Bhagiratha vice-chairman Vemula Prashanth Reddy said Congress was compelled to concede Telangana State after TRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao sat on fast-unto-death. He also ridiculed Congress leaders to celebrate birthday of Sonia Gandhi on December 9 as she announced separate Telangana State in 2009.

Government Whip Palla Rajeshwar Reddy slammed the Congress leaders, especially S Jaipal Reddy for criticizing TRS government. Launching a scathing attack on A Revanth Reddy for criticizing the TRS government, Peddapalli MP Balka Suman warned the former to stop such provocative utterances or face dire consequences. If the Congress encourages personal attacks by Revanth Reddy, the TRS would make the history of Congress leaders’ families public, he warned. (NSS)
