UPSC IES ISS Examination Notification of the year 2018 has been released on 21st March 2018 by Union public Service Commission UPSC.
The UPSC invites Online Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for admission to the Examination of Indian Economic Service (IES) / Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination (IES ISS Exam 2018).
A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Junior Time Scale of the Services will be held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing from 29th June 2018.
The last date for submission of UPSC IES ISS 2018 online applications is 16th April 2018.

Age Limit: 21 to 30 Years as on 1st August, 2018. i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1988 and not later than 1st August, 1997. The upper age relaxation as per Government Rules.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
| Indian Economic Service (IES) -> | Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time. |
| Indian Statistical Service (ISS) -> | Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time. |
Selection Process: A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Junior Time Scale of the Services will be held by the UPSC commencing from 29 June 2018.

Exam Centres: Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Jammu, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Cuttak, Shillong, Delhi, Shimla, Dispur, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad.
Application Fee: The fee should be made through either by depositing the money in any Branch of State Bank of India (SBI) by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No fee for Female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible Candidates are advised to Apply Online through UPSC Online Portal, The closing date for Online Applications is 16/04/2018 till 6:00 PM.
The Candidates are requested to fill up and submit the Part-I and Part II of their online application forms before the closing date of the application.
Once the candidate successfully submits Part-1 and Part II of their online applications, they would receive an auto generated email about the successful submission of their online application forms.
The applicants are advised to submit only single application.
