Urdu lovers pay rich tributes to Mirza Ghalib

New Delhi: A literary session ‘Tamasha mere aage’ was organised by World Urdu Trust at Ghalib Academy, on the occasion of 211nt birth anniversary of Mirza Ghalib. Vice Chairman of Urdu Academy Prof Shehpar Rasool, editor Roznama Rashtriya Sahara Nafees Hasan Abidi, Director Ghalib Institute Dr Raza Hyder attended the programme as chief guests. On the occasion, rich tributes were paid to Mirza Ghalib.

Prof Shehpar Rasool told that Mirza Ghalib is the poet of not only Urdu but the entire world. He said there is no language left in which the translation of Mirza Ghalib’s poetry has not been done. Thus we can say that he is the poet of the entire world.
