Uttam cajoles Danam in vain

The TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy had a meeting with Danam Nagender, who tendered resignation to the party, at latter’s residence immediately after the resignation letter of Danam received.

It is learnt that Uttam enquired about the reasons for the resignation of Danam Nagender. Uttam’s efforts to convince Danam concluded in vain. Uttam returned from his residence saying that the party was ready to discuss with him if the party troubled any. Danam mentioned in his resignation letter clearly that the party didn’t inform him on appointing Anjan Kumar Yadav as Greater Hyderabad Congress party president. It is learnt that Danam didn’t go back on his resignation though Uttam tried to convince him for 10 minutes and disappointed Uttam returned from there.

On the other hand, the rumors were spreading that Danam would join TRS party on Sunday. Danam was discussing with his followers on his future course of action. Danam was getting ready to announce his decision at Filmy Junction Hotel located at Film Nagar opposite to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on Saturday 12 noon. Another rumor doing rounds that the ruling party offered him Secunderabad MP ticket to Danam.
It may be mentioned here that Danam Nagender tried to join TRS party in presence of TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao during GHMC elections and his followers erected flexes around the Telangana Bhavan too. But Danam withdrew his decision as KCR didn’t give him time and took him light. Since then Danam was maintaining distance from the Congress party activities. It is learnt that Danam was totally upset with appointing Anjan Kumar Yadav in his place as Greater Hyderabad Congress party president without informing him. (NSS)
