Wasim Rizvi launches trailer of controversial film Ram Janmabhoomi without censor Board’s permission, Raza Academy to file FIR

New Delhi: A delegation of Raza Academy visited Film Censor Board and made a complaint against the provocative film Ram Janmabhoomi made by chairman Shia Waqf Board Uttar Pradesh Wasim Rizvi. The delegation is planning to move to Court against the film.

According to Inquilab, a delegation led by secretary Academy Mumbai Khaleeluddin Noori called on the authorities of Film Censor Board. The delegation comprised of Maulana Amanullah, Imran and Nazim Khan.

On visiting the Film Censor Board, they came to know that the trailer of the film launched by Waseem Rizvi was not approved by the Censor Board. The delegation said any film to be released needs to be passed by the Sensor Board but Waseem Rizvi has violated the law and launched the trailer without the permission of Film Censor Board. Hence they plan to lodge an FIR against him.

Meanwhile, when asked about the issue Wasim Rizvi said the trailer of the film has been launched on YouTube hence it doesn’t require the permission of Film Censor Board.
