Hyderabad: A 36-year-old woman attempted to commit suicide in front of Home Minister’s office in Secretariat.
According to the news published in DC, R. Swapna, claiming to be the wife of a police constable, Saikumar alleged that he was demanding money from her. She also blamed her husband that he was compelling her to allow his friends to have physical contacts.
Vexed up with this attitude of her husband, she went to Home Minister’s office to lodge a complaint.
However, when she tried to commit suicide, staff of Secretariat alerted the police. She was later shifted to Maxcure hospital. Her condition is normal now.
In her statement, she mentioned that her husband had ruined the lives of other women earlier.
Taking action against Saikumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner suspended him.
