Hyderabad: A woman committed suicide since her husband’s friend harassed her in front of her husband pointing fingers at her character.
According to the details of the case, Krishnaveni (31) and her husband had lent a sum of Rs. 9 lakh to a person by name Ganesh on the promise of returning the amount within two months.
When Ganesh did not keep his promise and did not return the money, the couple asked Ganesh to return the money which he had borrowed from them. He started harassing the woman in front of her husband by levelling baseless charges and by tarnishing her image and suspecting her character.
The woman could not bear this and committed suicide by hanging herself.
The man had also threatened the woman that he would post her photographs on social media.
Police registered a case and started investigations.
