Colombo: Dr. Zakir Naik, Islamic preacher is the “wanted person” in India in connection with his alleged terrorist activities. He is at present residing in Malaysia in order to escape arrest.
After Sri Lanka blasts which took the lives of many persons, the largest cable operators of the country, “Dialogue” and “LT” have stopped telecasting Zakir Naik’s Peace TV.
It may be mentioned that Peace TV is already banned India and Bangladesh.
It is alleged that those who were arrested in bomb blasts in Sri Lanka were influenced by Dr. Zakir Naik’s discourses. Some of them informed that they used to listen to audio and video clips of Dr. Zakir Naik.
