Police resorted to lathi-charge on agitating Jamia Students

New Delhi:  The law and order situation in Jamia Nagar of South Delhi became volatile due to the agitation of the students of Jamia Millia Islamia, who were protesting against the introduction of CAB.

Some miscreants set ablaze DTC bus near New Friends’ Colony. The students of Jamia Millia were telling repeatedly that they did not set ablaze the bus.

According to the report, yesterday, in the morning, the protest was peaceful. The agitators had crossed the Surya Hotel and had reached Mathura Road.

Later, the traffic was blocked and someone informed that a bus has been set ablaze. The students told that they did not set ablaze the bus, it has been done bus outsiders.

Police started bursting fear gas shells from Surya Hotel.
