New Delhi: Kapil Mishra, Delhi BJP leader led a rally in support of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act on Saturday with a slogan raised “Goli Maro Saalon Ko, Desh Ke Gaddaron Ko (Shoot the one who betray the nation).”
The slogans apparently targeting those who take part in anti-CAA protest. Meanwhile, Mishra claimed that it was a peaceful rally in favour of CAA.
He tweeted:
“We have also come on the road, do not misunderstand. If we can win in the parliament, we can win on the streets too. Today, I am also on the road with Delhi’s youth, holding a peaceful march in support of CAA.”
Kapil Mishra is a former AAP politician, who was disqualified as a legislator in August, after which he officially joined the BJP.
