Hyderabad: Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rasheed, former Professor of Mathematics, has passed away on Sunday (January 31) in Hyderabad, according to his relative Khwaja Asifuddin.
He was 73.
He was residing in the U.S. for a long time and was on a visit to his home town, Hyderabad, three weeks ago.
Dr Abdul Rashid is survived by his wife, Dr Sabiha Anjum and two daughters Dr Sadia Khan and Shafia Zubair, both living in the U.S.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was performed at Jame Masjid Battery Line, AC Guard and laid to rest at Khaja Pahad graveyard, Tadban.
