Dr. Malla Reddy BJP Senior leader today demanded that the Rajiv Gandhi Gruha Kalpa project should be completed on priority as thousands of families are homeless and the project could benefit them .
Dr. Malla Reddy said that due to lack of funds the project is incomplete since almost a decade . Many of the project s in Jawharnagar , Gaujlaramaram , Pocharam Bandlaguda are incomplete and the incomplete buildings are on the verge of collapse . He said that 15 floors 15000 apartments were to be completed in these areas which remain in complete as a result many of the unfinished buildings are on the verge of collapse and beneficiaries have not been give the houses .
Demanding the Government to complete the project Dr. Malla Reddy said that the Housing Corporation should be winded up and instead the HMDA , GHMC and Housing Board should take the responsibility of completing these projects which will benefit many homeless families residing on the outskirts of the city .
