Saudi Singer sings Bapu’s ‘favourite Bhajan’

New Delhi:  Marking 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi also known as the ‘Father of the Nation’, India is celebrating Gandhi Jayanti today.

Not only India, but several other countries too are paying their tributes to mark this day, organizing several events.

A video from such an event apparently organised by Embassy of India, Riyadh is now going viral on the internet, winning people’s hearts.

The video was shared by Twitter user Nouf Almarwaai which is a 20-second long, shows a man “singing Gandhiji’s favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnava Jana To.’”

The user captions that the man singing the song is a Saudi singer which has grabbed people’s attention and so far collected 19,000 views and still counting, with over 3,000 likes and close to 850 retweets.

October 2 also marks the fifth anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission that was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 on Gandhi Jayanti.
