NEW DELHI: Saurabh Dwivedi, the editor of ‘Lallantop’, owned by India Today group, trends on Twitter on Thursday for allegedly sharing an image and a sarcastic message on Twitter mocking the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters.

Dwivedi on Wednesday tweeted an edited infographic of the advertisement of British condom brand Durex and mocked the BJP supporters.

The now deleted tweet read, “For those people who are still supporting BJP. Please use this we don’t want any more like you in the world”.

This did not go down so well with netizens and soon #SaurabhDwivediDallaHai becomes top trend on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Hashtag #SaurabhDwivediDallaHai, has generated over 11,000 tweets at the time of writing the article.

After facing the ire on social media, Dwivedi issued an unconditional apology claiming the “sarcastic message” was done in humour.
