Hyderabad: Out of the 10 major companies, seven faced a loss of Re. 1 trillion last week. The major loser is HDFC Bank. It is estimated that it incurred a loss of Rs. 30 thousand crore.
Economic analysts opined that this loss was not predicted before.
The other companies which faced the loss are Hindustan Unilever, Reliance Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank etc.
On the closure of market, on Friday, a loss of Re. 1 trillion was registered for seven companies. On the other hand, IT companies registered profits. ITC, Tata Consultancy and Infosys registered profits. The expert say that the seven companies which incurred losses are not unstable organizations but the loss incurred to them is only a temporary phase.
