Hyderabad: The crescent of Sha’ban, the eighth month of Islamic calendar, has been sighted and the Shab-e-Baraat, the second holy night for Muslims, will be celebrated on April 20.
The Central Ruiyat-e-Hilal Committee, which met here at Hussaini Building at Maozam Jahi Market, announced that the holy month of Sha’ban has commenced as the crescent was sighted on Saturday evening.
