New Delhi: Women of Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh are continuing their protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 and National Register of Citizens (NRC) amid rain and chill.
Some of the women are taking part in the peaceful protest along with their minor children. They demand the government to give clarity on CAA and NRC.
Talking to media persons, one of the protesters said that they will not end protest until they get written clarification from the government.
It may be mentioned that after brutal violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), there is an apprehension that miscreants may create ruckus in the protest which is taking place at Shaheen Bagh.
