Rampur: Samajwadi Party leader from Sambhal, Mr. Feroz Khan adopted unique idea to dodge cops.
According to the report published in NDTV, on the way to meet senior leader of the party, Mr. Azam Khan, Mr. Feroz Khan disguised himself as groom by wearing ‘sehra’.
Section 144 was imposed
It may be mentioned that police had imposed section 144 before the visit of SP Chief, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav to meet Azam Khan.
Akhilesh Yadav’s visit gains significance in the backdrop of the fact that as many as 80 cases have been registered against SP leader and Rampur MP Azam Khan.
This tour can be seen as an endeavour by the party chief to lend his support to Khan and his son, who have been embroiled in controversies from past few months.
Jauhar University
Lending support to Azam Khan, Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that Jauhar University was built to provide better education.
“University is built neither for me nor for Abdulla Azam. It was constructed to provide better education for future generations… In the coming time, this University will become a paradigm. Azam Khan built this to change the fortunes of people… That’s why the government is his enemy,” he said while addressing his party workers here. “New cases are being registered against him every day. It seems like there is one man who is behind all this. The language is the same. God knows who is registering these FIRs,” he added.
At least 80 FIRs have been registered against Vice-Chancellor of Jauhar University, Azam Khan including land-grabbing cases.
