Sushma Swaraj’s last tweet, PM Modi pay tributes to Swaraj

New Delhi: The Senior BJP leader and former foreign minister Sushma Swaraj passed away a while ago at (All India Institute of Medical Science) AIIMS on Tuesday.

The BJP veteran, who suffered a massive heart attack, died at the age of 67. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan was accompanying Swaraj in the hospital.

Earlier in her last Tweet post, Swaraj welcomed the revoking of Article 370 and 350A and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this move. The senior BJP leader had opted out of contesting in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections citing ill health.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of BJP senior leader Sushma Swaraj. The Prime Minister expressed his condolences via Tweet.

PM writes in his tweet that “I can’t forget the manner in which Sushma Ji worked tirelessly as EAM in the last 5 years. Even when her health was not good, she would do everything possible to do justice to her work and remain up to date with matters of her Ministry. The spirit and commitment were unparalleled.”
